Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework

The newly released Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework promotes students’ active engagement with the practices of science and engineering. Students are asked to observe, raise questions, investigate, problem solve, give evidence, and discuss. Since 1992, students have been doing just that in our Traveling Science Workshops with great success and much enjoyment.

We have introduced new topics and modified old favorites in alignment to the new standards. If you have questions about the new curriculum standards and the best workshops to support specific grade levels, please email Jill Foster, or call her at 989-264-4200 ext. 18. The Discovery Museums are committed to helping educators provide fun, hands-on science and engineering programs for all of their students.
