- Enter the Mixing Studio to experience what it's like to be an audio engineer. See the process of audio storytelling come to life as you select clips of narrative, mix them with background music, and add fun sound effects!
- Watch the oscilloscope trace the sound waves of your voice when you record a jingle in our Recording Booth.
- Play a range of notes with wind, string, and percussion on unique instruments you create with familiar materials - from PVC tubes and foot pumps to rubber bands, guitar strings, and picks, to drum heads and plastic bags- all at the Instrument Lab.
- Pluck the invisible beams of light on the electronic Air Harp and journey around the world! Choose from African drums, Chilean panpipes, Chinese Ehrus, Scottish bagpipes and more.
- Discover what 'sound' looks, feels, and sounds like at the Tuning Fork booth.
- Play along with others at the Rubber Ball Music Wall, designed by musician Leonard Solomon. Try out different pipes, horns and even a peanut butter jar to hear varying tones and pitch.
