Bid for Kids offers Red Sox tickets, summer camp and more in support of the Museums

 

ACTON, MA - The Discovery Museums kicked their 8th annual Bid for Kids online auction fundraiser on Monday, May 1 at 8:30am at www.biddingforgood.com/discoverymuseums.  The auction will close on Wednesday, May 10 at 10:00pm. 

Individuals and local businesses have come together to support the Museums, donating popular and hard-to-get items to be auctioned off. The catalog will have over 200 items, including: a VIP Red Sox game package (grandstand tickets, VIP tour, and your name on the videoboard!); a vacation rental in Wellfleet; summer camps; gift certificates for many area restaurants; and so much more!

Proceeds from the auction will support The Discovery Museums’ Open Door Connections program which serves to make the Museums affordable and accessible to all through programs such as Especially for Me, supporting families with children on the autism spectrum and children with hearing loss and First Friday Nights Free.
