FOR OLDER CHILDREN
Summer Scientists (entering Grades 2-5)
- Toying Around with Science NEW! Roll up your sleeves and get ready for some serious playtime with toys! Ever wonder what the inside of a Magic 8 Ball® looks like? Or how to wire your own Operations® Game board? Maybe you would like to design a human spinning top or mix up a batch of the best slippery slime? This year's Summer Scientists will investigate the world of toys. Invent, create, dissect, rebuild, and PLAY with toys! Our days will be full of toy adventures. Every inventor, tinkerer, and scientist needs variety for inspiration so we will be sure to make time to explore the natural world and our own Museum exhibits too. We will also engage in imaginative art projects, read a variety of stories and play some awesome games. Don't miss this opportunity to have a blast while meeting new friends and becoming a Toy Scientist! See you in the toy shop!
